> Generating
transformation
 |
Why?
Save time and achieve outstanding results with a new
generation of thought processing.
Using
a range
of powerful thinking and drawing exercises that anyone
can do, these techniques enable direct access to creativity and business
inspiration.
The
exercises generate an abundance of creative ideas in a short
time and often produce ideas that simply wouldn't have
emerged from more traditional brainstorming methods.
|
> What would happen in a typical
session?
I would meet the person responsible
for staff training and development beforehand and establish exactly
the goal and aims of the session. To give some examples, I have run
these exercises in the past to inspire fresh thinking for a
marketing and advertising campaign; another company wanted to generate ideas about
future direction of growth and how best this expansion could be
managed.
|
Once the aim is clear, I work by
explaining the entire exercise, reassuring any concerns about the process and explain the simple yet powerful
concepts that lie at the heart of this training. The specific
exercises used are tailored to each individual client.
After the creative exercises, participants reflect more analytically
on the process and extract key information about ideas that have
come up and what actions are necessary to make positive change
happen. |

> How are these exercises are so effective?
Most people are aware of the concept that the right-hand side of the
brain tends to be more creatively orientated and the left-hand side
of the brain tends to be more logical.
Some people are aware that really effective leaders and
managers actively use both hemispheres and are as
comfortable accessing creative instincts as they are
thinking logically.
|
 |
Not everyone is aware of the
different languages necessary to fully activate the different
hemispheres. The limitation of brainstorming and mind mapping
techniques is that they use words and language which is easily
understood by the logical, left-brain but that doesn't fully engage
the creative, non-verbal right brain.
Hence the need for these accessible
and powerful exercises in generating creativity.
> Why are they a new generation of
thought processing?
For the very reasons given above.
Over the past 12 years I have travelled to different parts of the
world and trained in the most effective personal and professional
development disciplines that I could find.
Many of these techniques
and exercises delve deep into the creative intelligence inherent in
all of us. This provides a rich resource for those who know how to
access it - taking decision making, creative thinking and business
inspiration to a whole new level.
